We are proud to celebrate 10 years of support and partnership with the Donate Life Rose Parade float, said Elisse E. Glennon, executive director, NJ Sharing Network Foundation. Over the last decade, we have honored over 40 New Jersey families who have been touched by organ and tissue donation and transplantation. We are excited to tune in this year and to continue our partnership.
Among the highlights of the program will be a newly created Community of Life floral sculpture honoring 21 organ and tissue donors from across the nation as well as six donation healthcare heroes who have helped give others a second chance at life. The incredible 25-foot displaywhich will include individually dedicated roses carrying personal messages of love, remembrance, hope and gratitudeis the creation of Donate Life, which for the past 17 years has sponsored a Rose Paradefloat, raising awareness of the lifesaving power of organ, eye and tissue donation.
