Pivot3 Expands Sales Leadership by Appointing Dan Flood as Vice President of US Sales

Pivot3, a leading provider of intelligent infrastructure solutions, today announced that it has expanded its sales leadership with Dan Flood joining as vice president of U.S. sales. In his role, Flood will lead Pivot3s U.S. sales teams to drive the companys continued growth in the enterprise and commercial datacenter markets.

Flood joins Pivot3 from Dell EMC where he served as vice president of sales for its Modern Datacenter Division (MDC) for the Americas Global Accounts team, a $1.2 billion sector of business that represents Dell EMCs storage, converged infrastructure, hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) and hybrid cloud portfolios. Prior to that, Flood was at Virtual Computing Environment (VCE), which became Dell EMCs Converged Platforms and Solutions division. At VCE he led the growth of the enterprise and commercial sales and operations business to $500 million annual revenue. VCE was consistently the top performing division in the company, with Flood helping to grow it from a joint venture startup to more than $1 billion in business for Dell EMC, Cisco and VMware.

In his 20 years of experience, Flood has managed sales teams and general business operations for solutions and services across storage, server, network, converged infrastructure, HCI and hybrid cloud markets. As vice president of U.S. Sales for Pivot3, he will help expand and grow the companys channel program and go-to-market strategy while leading the companys sales teams to create new revenue streams with IT transformation and datacenter modernization initiatives.
