Penn Mutual Asset Management, LLC (PMAM), a registered investment advisory firm and wholly owned subsidiary of The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Fanelli to managing director, business development. With over 25 years of institutional sales and relationship management experience, Fanelli will drive the firms institutional sales efforts for its fixed income strategies.

Fanelli joins the team as PMAM looks to continue to grow its presence in the institutional asset management market. He will be responsible for prospecting and developing new relationships with insurance company general accounts, family offices, RIAs and institutional consultants, while overseeing and managing new and existing client relationships.

In his previous roles, Chris has exhibited a skill for creating and executing institutional sales strategies, said PMAM President and Chief Marketing Officer Keith Huckerby. We look forward to having Chris drive the future sales growth of the firm.

Prior to joining PMAM, Chris was a managing director in structured product sales at Guggenheim Partners. From 1996 to 2015, he held various senior sales roles at Morgan Stanley. Most recently, Chris served as a managing director in the fixed income division, where he led structured credit distribution.

Chris earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
