Medical Properties Trust, Inc. (the Company or MPT) (NYSE: MPW) announced today that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.25 per share of common stock to be paid on April 11, 2019, to stockholders of record on March 14, 2019.
This dividend maintains our very attractive annualized return of 5.4% based on todays share price, said Edward K. Aldag, Jr., Chairman, President and CEO. We intend to continue dividend growth as we complete 2019s estimated acquisitions of $2.5 billion.
Annual Meeting of Stockholders
Medical Properties Trust also announced that its annual meeting of stockholders will be at the City Club in Birmingham, Alabama at 10:30 Central Time on May 23, 2019. Stockholders of record as of March 21, 2019, will be invited to attend.
