FundRequest adds Growth and Marketing Expert Şahver Kaya as Advisor

Open source marketplace FundRequest has welcomed Şahver Kaya to its team. The growth and marketing expert will serve as an advisor to the developer platform and spearhead its efforts to launch a range of business-oriented services.

With over 15 years’ experience of leading B2B and B2C firms, including stints with IBM, Deloitte, and Siemens, Kaya’s pedigree and network of contacts make her ideally positioned to help FundRequest grow.

The platform enables enterprises, organizations, and individuals to request software development from the open source community. Like all marketplaces, its success is dependant upon growing and diversifying its community so as to include businesses of all sectors and sizes.

Explaining her reasoning for taking up the advisory role, Şahver Kaya said: “I’ve been very impressed with what FundRequest have achieved to date, and I believe its open source system that supports and rewards collaboration is the future of project development. Leveraging my entrepreneurial and B2B experience, I’m confident I can open FundRequest up to a new audience, and expose major enterprises to the benefits that its collaborative solution offers.”

As a growth expert, Kaya has developed a track record for accelerating new businesses, helping them to realize their potential in the fastest time possible. In addition to reaching out to key participants in the cryptocurrency and wider tech industry, Şahver Kaya will call upon her experience of advising and coaching startups to help FundRequest expand into new markets.

The appointment of Şahver Kaya is the first of several to be announced by the FundRequest team in recent months, and demonstrates its commitment to completing the goals on its ambitious roadmap and broadening its reach. The FundRequest platform, which launched on the Ethereum network in early 2018, allows any ERC20 token to be used as a means of funding and rewarding open source issues on GitHub. It also features the FundRequest Ecosystem Incentivisation Pool, which is used to support the development of selected open source projects.
