The inability to correlate siloed data has long been a blocker to solving complex IT problems. Historically, by the time IT has the data needed to make an informed decision, it is too late, and, in a lot of cases, decisions are made without having the complete analysis and data available.
Digital.ais AI-powered analytics engine, the heart of the Digital.ai Value Stream Platform, integrates data from a range of IT sources – including DevOps, ITSM, ITIM and APM tools. Machine Learning (ML) models then process the data through millions of permutations and combinations to predict issues and prevent systemic problems. This patented technology is deployed in weeks, not months, and empowers users across the organization by giving them the information they need when they need it, with interactive visualizations that support all types of analytics, from pre-configured dashboards to ad hoc queries.
The Digital.ai-powered analytics solution enables users of the BMC Helix ITSM solution to add advanced analytics to their industry-leading service and change management. Key capabilities include the ability to:
- Increase performance “ Improve Change Approval Board (CAB) productivity and effectiveness by transforming the role of change management from change approver to proactive advisor to development and delivery teams. Identify and eliminate systemic causes of change failure across people, process, and technology.
- Predict & prevent major service disruptions “ Identify applications with the highest risk of an outage via a breakthrough AI/ML-driven early warning system. Prioritize capabilities with highest customer impact, prevent service impacts, and improve restoration time.
- Mitigate change risk and reduce change failure “ Use advanced AI/ML models to evaluate all available relevant data “ from BMC Helix ITSM and DevOps tools, detect change impact, and predict change failure. Find and fix risk factors both upstream in DevOps and downstream in IT Operations.
We are excited to collaborate with BMC to bring BMC Helix customers transformative AI/ML technology that helps to solve real business problems and provides a competitive advantage in their markets, said Gaurav Rewari, CTO & GM of AI and VSM at Digital.ai. The integration of Digital.ai AI-driven analytics with BMC Helix ITSM enables organizations to use business information as a strategic tool to prioritize changes, reduce incidents, and lower service and operations costs.

Hankyung.com's introduces: SBA to host “2020 Seoul Award Global Sourcing Fair” to support international sales of K-Products
- 25th (Wed), 26th (Thurs) '2020 Seoul Award Global Sourcing Fair' BIZ-matching will be held at Seoul Dragon City
- More than 170 buyers from China, Japan, France, and Korea will participate and hold consulting sessions with 400 Korean Award winners
- Many events including social network marketing with SNS influencers to support small and medium sized companies to enter the international market in the midst of economic downfall due to COVID-19.
SEOUL, South Korea, Nov. 26, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — The city government of Seoul and Seoul Business Agency (SBA, CEO Jang Yeong-seung), the driving force behind new jobs created in Seoul, announced the plan for “2020 Seoul Award Global Sourcing Fair”, a large-scale export consultation that is designed to promote support small and medium sized business in Korea who were directly impacted by COVID-19. The event will invite international and Korean buyers and will be held in on/off-line formats.
Following announcement covered by Hankyung.com, The Fair will be held in Seoul Dragon City. International buyers who are residing outside of Korea will participate via online, and buyers from Korea will participate via offline to mitigate COVID-19.
At the Fair, more than 120 buyers will participate in B2B consulting and sample testing sessions with more than 400 corporates whose products have won Seoul Awards over the clear divider installed at each consulting table.
To accommodate international buyers who cannot enter Korea due to COVID-19, SBA is already hosting online export consulting events at SBA international logistics center from 9/14 (Mon) to 11/20 (Fri).
During the past months, 50 international buyers had more than 400 sessions with small and medium sized businesses via online. The events support companies that have potential to land on deals through offering follow-up meetings until business deals can be made.
About 400 companies whose products have won Seoul Awards will participate in '2020 Seoul Award Global Sourcing Fair' to have export consulting with more than 170 buyers from 16 countries around the world including China, Japan, France, Indonesia, and Spain.
The products that have received Seoul Awards represent 8 areas including: beauty, living, Computer/electronics/digital, Children/Pregnancy/toys, Fashion Accessories, Sports/Leisure/travel, Stationery/Hobbies/Auto/Character/pet, and Foods. The precious Seoul Awards, which has started in 2016, are only given to outstanding daily products that are carefully evaluated by MDs and logistic specialists. The Seoul Award products are popular among many buyers as their credibility has been proven through the qualitative and quantitative examinations associated with Seoul Award.
Seoul Award Global Sourcing Fair did not invite the buyers through third-party companies. Instead, it uses SBA's own network that was built over the time when SBA pioneered the sales path for small and medium businesses. The hosts of Fair will collaborate with the Global Market Development Committee, dedicated to building the international sales route for small and medium businesses, to invite buyers and sellers from all over the world; this will lead to the participation of many highly interested buyers who have strong faith in Seoul Award-winning products.
The Matching consulting provides an opportunity to secure an attractive business deal through customized consulting services. First, the pre-matching meeting about the product in which the buyer is interested in will be provided before consulting schedule will be set. This service is expected to increase each businesses' satisfaction and allow accommodation of each other's needs, leading to the higher chance of landing on a deal.
Moreover, the Fair will partner with Korean SNS influencers and Chinese TikTok personalities to promote beauty products and other products from small and medium businesses.
As the status of COVID-19 is changing rapidly, this event will be held in accordance with the second level of social distancing guideline. Fewer than 100 people will be permitted to each floor (indoor spaces). The spacing allows 1 person for every 4m2, and the clear divider on each consulting table and mask mandate will be implemented.
Moreover, the cleaning specialists will sanitize the space before and after each events and will constantly sanitize the areas with high traffic to maximize the mitigation effort and to promote the international sales of small and medium businesses.
“As COVID-19 is resurging, many small and medium businesses are experiencing slow sales. We believed there are opportunities in every risks. We expect our outstanding K-products including sanitation products will excel in the international market by meeting the perfect buyers”, said Kim Yong-Sang, the head of SBA's Marketing department.

Joinland Group Delivering Socio-Economic Benefits To Papua New Guinea Islanders
Over 3 Million Trees Planted on New Hanover Island
KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA – Media OutReach – 20 November 2020 – The Joinland Group, a diversified Malaysian conglomerate of varied business interests, has planted over 3 million trees on the Papua New Guinea (PNG) island of New Hanover since the inception of its agriculture and forestry venture, the Central New Hanover Agro-Forestry Project in 2012.
This milestone achievement is just one of many initiatives that the Joinland Group has undertaken to ensure the long-term and sustainable socio-economic development of both the island and its residents — meeting its commitments as a responsible partner to the island community.
Since the New Hanover Project began, Joinland Group has planted 2.5 million rubber trees, 560,000 cocoa trees and 54,000 coconut trees in order to create sustainable jobs and income for local residents and landowners both now and in the future.
Commenting on this achievement Dato’ Sri Thomas Hah Tiing Siu, the founder of Joinland, said, “We are happy to have achieved this tree planting milestone. Our New Hanover project in Papua New Guinea is benefitting members of the surrounding communities as the efforts of our labour over the past eight years are starting to bear fruit. Our goal is to empower the people of New Hanover and provide opportunities for them to earn income both in the short and long term.”
Joinland’s New Hanover Project, which covers a total of 56,592 hectares, was always planned as a long-term project with several phases designed to contribute to the economic and social growth of the residents of New Hanover. The first phase, which was to develop New Hanover’s underutilised land in a sustainable manner, is well underway. While Joinland has already planted over 3 million trees, the company is committed to hitting a target of 5 million by 2022.
The second phase of the project, encompassing the processing and marketing of the agricultural crops, is currently in progress with the objective of ensuring that New Hanover’s farmers and landowners reap maximum value for these agricultural resources. The third phase of the project is also already underway. This phase is focused on environmental sustainability, primarily the reforestation of areas cleared as part of the project.
Currently Joinland is planting 15 essential native tree species for every single tree cleared as part of its forestry activities, which fund all the socio-economic investments that the company is making to benefit the residents of New Hanover and the Papua New Guinea government via enhanced tax revenues. So far, the company has planted over 800,000 calophyllum trees, as part of its effort to preserve the natural ecosystem of the island.”
Concluding Dato’ Sri Thomas, said, “Joinland has clearly demonstrated its long-term commitment to the sustainable socio-economic development of New Hanover and its residents. We are happy with what we have achieved to date, but are also determined to maintain and even enhance our efforts in partnership with the Papua New Guinea government, New Hanover stakeholders and residents moving forward. We remain committed to successfully developing the island and improving the lives of everyone on it.”
