Alorica Grows Its Presence in Mexico Adding More Than 1,500 Jobs

Today, Alorica Inc., the worlds leading provider of customer interactions, announced its continued growth in Mexico, adding a fifth site in the country, located in Puebla, and the creation of more than 1,500 jobs across all contact centers in the region. This strategic expansion accommodates growing demand for business process outsourcing (BPO) services in Latin America and the Caribbean.

As we looked to expand our Latin America operations and open a new site to support the growth and success in the region, we immediately thought of Puebla, said Miro Batista, President of Latin America and the Caribbean at Alorica. This community is home to nearly 350 higher education institutions, where were able to hire graduates with degrees in business, economics, finance and accounting. We are appreciative toward the Mexican government and the cities of Guadalajara, Mexico City and Puebla for their support of our business, our new employees in the area and the clients we serve. Were also pleased to be able to invest in these communities by hiring locals and building our infrastructure in these places.

The new Alorica Puebla site, located in Plaza America, Juan Pablo II and Calle 53 Pte. has already brought on 200 employees and is supporting one of the largest online retailers in the world. By the end of the year, the site expects to hire an additional 600 employees. The 41,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art facility features an employee lounge, health clinic, game room and easy access to public transportation. In addition, Alorica has invested in various education and training programs, including Alorica Academya six-week program available to company leaders that teaches skills related to the industry and aligns with Aloricas Key Performance Indicators (KPI).

There are 500 positions open among the sites in Guadalajara and 400 positions are now available at the Alorica Mexico City location. All of these capabilities are supported in multiple languages, such as English, Spanish, French and Portuguese.
