AI Semiconductor Company Syntiant to Demonstrate its Ultra-Low-Power Neural Decision Processors at Infineon’s OktoberTech 2018

IRVINE, Calif., Oct. 11, 2018 — Syntiant Corp., an artificial intelligence semiconductor company that is creating an entirely new class of ultra-low-power, high-performance, deep neural network processors for edge computing, will demonstrate its proprietary technology working together with Infineon’s microphones during the OktoberTech 2018 Technology Collaboration Forum, being held today at the Four Seasons Hotel in East Palo Alto, Calif.

Syntiant’s programmable neural decision processors (NDPs) can simultaneously support dozens of application-defined audio and keyword classifications, enabling developers to create custom, always-on speech user interfaces optimized for battery-powered devices. Other capabilities include speaker identification, audio event and environment classification, and sensor analytics.

“We are thrilled to partner with Infineon, one of the largest manufacturers of high-performance microphones and sensors, to develop a deep neural network-enabled AI mic,” said Kurt Busch, CEO of Syntiant. “Evaluation boards are available, and we are executing well on all fronts, from chip and software development to engaging with key customers for 2019 production.”
